Happy happy holidays everyone!! OMG I can not believe we only have a few more days until Christmas; December definitely flew by. I have sooooo enjoyed getting to relax at home and spend time with the family. Christmas has always been my favorite holiday not only because of the presents, I mean who doesn't like presents, but because it really is a time that brings everyone together to celebrate happiness and cheer. My family loves baking and to celebrate Christmas we always make my granny Hobb's classic fudge but we also make and of course decorate Christmas cookies. Thank goodness my mom was on board with helping me fulfill my Christmas wish of making 50+ cookies for family and friends; and before you ask, they turned out absolutely cute!! But as time flies and Christmas approaches, my mind is flooded with thoughts of appreciation and humbleness. Now yes I know this is not Thanksgiving, but I want to take a moment of gratitude and admiration to thank all of the people in my life who have made 2018 another amazing year. I am soo thankful for all of my new friends from college and of course all of my littles that I stay in touch with in Newnan. Although they always roast me, I am of course grateful for my brothers who always manage to make me smile despite however I am feeling inside. I am so appreciative to my parents who welcome me with open arms and occasionally give inspiring advice that I would expect to find in a book. I am always thankful that I was able to find such a unique and amazing second family of girls, my sisters, who make college so much more manageable. I am just truly blessed to have so many friends/family and countless other individuals who add creativity, love, hope, peace, joy, and faithfulness to the canvas of my life. So as I wrap up all of my mushy gushy feelings, I would like to ask whoever is reading this to take a moment and text, call, facetime or snap the people that you are most appreciative for; take the time to reach out and connect with all the people who have made your 2018 memorable. And of course, Merry Christmas everyone!!!
